Mamelodi Sundowns co-coach Rulani Mokwena has dismissed speculation fellow Masandawana coach Steve Komphela is on his way to Orlando Pirates to take over as coach.

Orlando Pirates currently don’t have a coach after the resignation of Josef Zinnbauer.
In an interview with TimesLIVE, Mokwena said as far as he was concerned Komphela was staying part of the Mamelodi Sundowns coaching team and going nowhere.

“No, it’s business as usual,” Rulani Mokwena said.
“We don’t respond to speculation. We don’t live in a space where we allow speculation to derail us from where we are trying to go.
“We are highly ambitious, and this season we are extremely hungry. We want to be the best.
“We want to work hard for that and not be deviated or side-tracked by minor issues and speculation.
“We want to focus and try to make sure we do our best not only for this club, president, chairman and everybody associated that gives incredible hours to see this club succeed.
“But also our fans,” Rulani Mokwena concluded.
