FIRE DANGER WARNINGS:



  1. Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the eastern parts of the Northern Cape, the south-western parts of the North West, the western parts of the Free State, as well as the northern parts of the Eastern Cape Provinces.

Gauteng:


Temperature: Fine and warm.


The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Very high.


Mpumalanga:


Temperature: Morning fog patches on the southern and eastern Highveld, otherwise fine and cool to warm but partly cloudy in the east. It will be cloudy along the escarpment in the morning with drizzle.


Limpopo:


Temperature: Cloudy in places in the morning, otherwise partly cloudy and warm but cool along the escarpment where morning drizzle can be expected. It will become fine over the western and central parts from the afternoon.


North-West Province:


Temperature: Fine and warm.


Free State:


Temperature: Fine and warm but cool along the Lesotho border.


Northern Cape:


Temperature: Cloudy and cool along the coast with morning fog patches, otherwise fine and warm.


Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh north-westerly.


Western Cape:


Temperature: Morning fog patches over the north-eastern interior, otherwise fine and warm but partly cloudy and cool along the west coast and adjacent interior.


Wind: The wind along the coast will be strong easterly in the south, otherwise fresh north-westerly in the west and south-west, becoming strong in the afternoon.


The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Moderate.


Eastern Cape:


The Western half Temperature: Cloudy in places south of escarpment at first with morning fog patches, otherwise fine and warm, but partly cloudy along the coast.


The Western half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate north-easterly, becoming fresh in the evening.


The Eastern half Temperature: Cloudy in places in the south with morning fog patches, otherwise fine and cool to warm, but partly cloudy along the coast.


The Eastern half Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh north-easterly.


Kwazulu-Natal:


Temperature: Partly cloudy in the morning with fog over the interior, otherwise fine and warm.


Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh north-easterly.


The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Extreme.
