  1. Level 1 warning for disruptive rain leading to localized flooding is expected along the Wild coast and adjacent interior of the Eastern Cape.

Gauteng:


Temperature:


Cloudy and cool with scattered showers and thundershowers but isolated in the south.


The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Very high.


Mpumalanga:


Temperature: Partly cloudy and cool to warm but cloudy in the morning with scattered showers and thundershowers, recurring in the evening. Widespread thundershowers are expected on the southern Highveld.


Limpopo:


Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm, but cloudy in the morning with scattered showers and thundershowers, recurring in the evening. Isolated thundershowers are expected in the north-east.


North-West Province:


Temperature: Cloudy in the east at first with isolated showers and thundershowers, otherwise fine and warm.


Free State:


Temperature: Cloudy in the east at first with scattered showers and thundershowers, otherwise fine and cool.


Northern Cape:


Temperature: Partly cloudy and cool but cold in the south-west, becoming fine in the east in the afternoon.


Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh southerly.


Western Cape:


Temperature: Cloudy and cold to cool, with light rain in the south-west at first.


Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh southerly but south-westerly along the south coast.


The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Moderate.


Eastern Cape:


The Western half Temperature: Cloudy and cool with isolated showers and rain, but scattered in the south. Light snow is expected along the Sneeuberg at night.


The Western half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south-westerly early morning, otherwise strong, reaching near gale force in places from mid-morning.


The Eastern half Temperature: Cloudy and cool with isolated showers and thundershowers, but scattered south of the escarpment. Light snow is expected over the Winterberg at night.


The Eastern half Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south-westerly, becoming strong from the south in the afternoon.


Kwazulu-Natal:


Temperature: Cloudy and cool but warm in places in the north with scattered showers and thundershowers but isolated in the south.


Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh north-easterly north of Richards Bay at first, otherwise southerly to south-westerly.


The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Moderate.
