Wizkid Ignores Tems’ Concert, Hangs Out With Ayra Starr Last Night

Nigerian artists, Tems and Ayra Starr are trending on social media all thanks to Wizkid.

Yesterday, Wizkid and Ayra Starr set themselves up for dragging after Wizkid failed to show up at Tems’ Livespot: A Place Called Orange Concert. Recall that Tems had a show last night at the LiveSpot event centre and apparently Wizkid was supposed to show up for her and perform Essence as they have being doing for the past 4 months.

However, things took a different turn when Wizkid posted Ayra Starr dancing on his IG story. Ayra Starr also reposted the clip to let her fans know that Wizkid showed up for her in Ghana.

Netizens began speculating that Wizkid is trying to replace Tems with Ayra Starr come 2022. Wizkid even confirmed the gist when he followed Ayra Starr on social media a few hours after they hung out.

Alicia Keys Goes Independent, Gets Praise From Swizz Beatz And Jay-Z

The iconic singer recently shared her 8th studio album, and with this labor of love comes the announcement that Keys is now a freelance artist.

This comes 20 years after the release of her debut album. Alicia dropped her first classic album songs in sub, and with keys, her most recent, the singer fulfilled her contract with Sony.

She first mentioned it during her viral chat on Twitter Spaces that hosted Look from Jay-Z. At the time, Hov congratulated his longtime girlfriend on her achievement.

He reportedly said, Congratulations, first of all, this is an achievement genius. The fact that you signed on to a trademark for twenty years is pretty cool in itself, but the fact that you were able to complete your contract, not many people were given that. Rarely does it happen to someone to maintain a fit through contact like that.

As we all know, her proud husband, Swizz Beatz, never misses a moment to compliment his wife and share his excitement, he wrote; Congratulations my love this Big Big Big News and you totally deserve it! 20 years of greatness!” He wrote on Instagram

A groundbreaking and unforgettable moments! I love that you have such freedom at this time in your life, it’s rare!!!! You are for everyone who has supported since day one and those who are supporting now! aliciakeys is just getting started, let’s go [crown emojis] Shout out to every independent woman around the world!!!!

Nigerians React, Blames Davido After Wizkid and Zlatan Snubbed Each Other At A Recent Concert In Lagos

Wizkid and Zlatan have given social media users something to talk about this week.

The A-list artists are currently trending after they snubbed each other at Buju’s Sorry I’m Late Lagos Concert. As seen in the video trending online, Wizkid was leaving the show when he ran into some fans and his colleagues, including Zlatan.

He happily greeted the fans and artists whilst walking past Zlatan like he wasn’t there. As expected, Wizkid and Zlatan’s snub stirred controversy online. Many have argued that Wizkid should have said hi to Zlatan even if he is the biggest artist in Africa.

Others, Wizkid FC disagreed with this and commented that Zlatan would have said Hi to Wizkid if not for Davido. According to them, he is trying to be loyal to Davido and 30BG by making it look like Wizkid is his enemy but lowkey he wants him to be friends.

(Kofe toh, kofe toh)

(Yo Eskeez, kill the riddim on boss said)

Omotena, come

I do when I talk

I hate what I don’t

Love is so strong

I’m so different and strong

In love with your Hon

He dey gallivant up and down inside the hall

Shey make I port, inside the pot?

If you dey find the ball, it is inside the court

Shey you know?

LYRICS

You don’t need lonely nights

Call me anytime

I know what’s on your mind

Don’t have to be lonely tonight

I’m just a ring away

Don’t need to be ashamed

I know what’s on your mind

So, so baby, call me when you like

Omo you run my world

Let me show you love

Omo to shan wegha o megha yo

Omo la wey dey hold my soul

Omo you run my world

Let me show you love

Omo to shan wegha yo meha yo

Omo yin make I carry you go

Do you want to meet today?

You know you got every day from Monday

Wanna see you everyday

I wanna see you everyday

I wanna be your hang on

I’ll take you there loke loke

I am on my way, driving in the goddamn rain

I’m driving in the goddamn

LADIPOE

Even with this goddamn pain, swerving in and out my lane

I need cold champagne burning up my soul and veins

While I use the Lord’s name in vain

‘Cause I swear to God you like it baby

Ride or die no mean say you drive me crazy

To the point where I give you keys to open my heart

Nah, Johnny do we have to serenade these ladies? (Tell me)

Yes or no?

Let it go

Used to be the nigga that would fight for love

Now a heart in broken pieces’ what I’m frightened of

But I’m lighting up (when you’re near)

Chorus – Johnny

Omo you run my world (my world)

Let me show you love (show you love)

Omo to shan wegha o megha yo

Omo la wey dey hold my soul

Omo you run my world (my world)

Let me show you love (let me show you love)

Omo to shan wegha yo meha yo

Omo to shan wegha yo meha yo

Do you wanna meet today?

You know you got every day from Monday

Wanna see you everyday

I’ma pull up on you everyday

I wanna be your hang on

I’ll take you there loke loke

I’m on my way driving in the goddamn rain

I’m driving in the goddamn rain

Driving in the goddamn

Driving in the goddamn

I swear to God you like it baby

(You know you rock my world)

Driving in the goddamn rain

Driving in the goddamn

I’m driving in the goddamn rain

Big Sean Says “Black Women Are The Closest Thing To God”

Big Sean is currently getting roasted on Twitter, following his recent comments about black women.

The 33-year-old  rapper had a sit with ESSENCE to discuss the BET comedy/drama series he stars in, called Twenties, ahead of its season 2 finale, and during the interview, discussed how he’s got a lot in common with his on-screen character, Tristan.

I can relate to the essence of him because there are times where I’m not on social media. There are times when I am on social media. There are times where I put my phone down and leave it somewhere so I can relate to wanting to disconnect from the grid and go offline.

Tristan is a photographer, so Sean, as a performer, can relate to his role’s natural creative side. I don’t agree with everything he does or how he acts or how he says [things] but I can see where he’s coming from, he explained to the outlet.

Big Sean, further in the interview opened up on his past relationships saying that he has ghosted and has been ghosted in the past. He also revealed what it feels like to work in an environment led by women on the set of Twenties, saying, women are magical. Black women are the closest thing to God.

Wizkid Left Shocked After Fans Gave Him A ‘Smack Down’ On Stage || Watch Video

Nigerian singer, Wizkid is trending for funny reasons on Twitter and Instagram.

It is unusual for a Wizkid’s show to go down without drama. If they aren’t fighting over his jacket, they are fighting for his body parts.

In the early hours of Saturday morning, While Big Wiz was performing on stage at the Abuja Wizkid Live In Concert, a male fan ran to the stage to grab his leg. Fans thought it was just a die-hard fan move, but it became pretty serious after another fan joined the first one on stage to grab Wizkid’s other leg.

Wizkid told his bouncers to take it easy on them as they tried disentangling their hands from Wizzy’s legs. However, They were forced to go against his order when the fans succeeded in taking Wizkid to the ground.

The bouncers aggressively shoved the fans into the crowd and the show went on drama-free.
