Close friend of Vicky Kaushal-Katrina Kaif rubbishes wedding pre-conditions; usage of mobile phones allowed

A widely-reported news items states that Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif’s wedding supposedly scheduled for December 9 in Jaipur, has imposed several pre-conditions on the invitees. These include: no disclosure of wedding attendance, no photography, no sharing pictures on social media, no sharing location on social media, and no contact with the outside world till you leave the venue, etc.

However a close friend of the couple has completely rubbished these reports. “This is the most ridiculous report to have come out in a long time. There are no preconditions for the wedding. At the most they may request invitees to not use mobile phones during the ceremony (which, mind you, they haven’t). But how can they ask invitees to cease all contact with the outside world while they are at the venue. Is this wedding or the NAM summit?” Another friend, a high-profile filmmaker wonders if the wedding is actually happening.

“Are they really getting married on December 9? I haven’t received any invitation as yet. Even if they are, they can’t ban mobile phones at the wedding. We all have families, children and parents to worry about,” says the filmmaker wryly.

So how has Nawaz paid Vinod Khanna a tribute? “He had a certain way of walking which no other actor had. There was something masculine and delicate, almost a feminine grace in the way he walked. I’ve borrowed his walk in Heropanti 2. I hope Vinod Khannaji’s fans would like what I’ve done.”

Nawaz says it is important to keep learning from great actors. “I am always observing actors whom I respect. Kuch na kuch unse humesha leta rehta hoon (I take something or the other from them all the time).”

Seriously! Man wears a FAKE arm to avoid getting vaccinated

You can’t make this stuff up! An Italian man now faces fraud charges after he showed up at his vaccine appointment wearing a fake arm in an attempt to get a vaccine certificate without actually getting the jab. Anti-vaxxers may consider this a deceivingly smart way to circumvent vaccine mandates as more countries consider them, including in South Africa.

In Italy, people will not be allowed entry into gyms, restaurants and theatres, without a vaccination certificate.

MAN BUSTED FOR WEARING FAKE ARM TO AVOID VACCINE

According to The Guardian, the 50-year-old wore a silicone prosthetic to the vaccine center in Biella, a town in the northern Piemonte region near Turin. The nurse who was set to vaccinate him was, however, not fooled by the deception and immediately noticed when he lifted the arm.

“The color of the skin was anomalous, much lighter compared to the hands or the face of the patient,” Filippa Bua told CNN.

She then inspected the arm then realised that it was fake.

“I first felt sorry for the man, thinking that he had a prosthesis and wondering if I had somehow forced him to give me the wrong arm. But then he admitted he was wearing the fake arm on purpose to avoid getting the vaccine!”

Italian nurse Filippa Bua

The Piedmont regional government condemned the man’s attempt to cheat the system.”The case could be classified as ‘ridiculous,’ except that we are talking about a gesture of enormous gravity, unacceptable for the sacrifice that the whole community is paying for the pandemic,” a joint communiqué from the Piedmont region’s President and health councilor reads.

Am’s stunning intercept try inspires Sharks win – WATCH

The result was the perfect way for the Sharks to end the year, with Am leading the charge for the Sharks as they demonstrated just how powerful they can be when all of their Springboks are available.

Below you can check out some of the standout moments from the URC match:

Report: Sharks too strong for Bulls

David Kriel touched down against the run of play as the Bulls took a 13-9 lead into half-time, but skipper Lukhanyo Am’s terrific intercept try and Kerron van Vuuren’s late touchdown helped the Sharks pick up their second win of the season.

Am was one of several Springboks returning to a strong Sharks side for a Round 12 clash brought forward following the postponement of cross-hemisphere clashes in South Africa in Rounds 6 and 7, with Siya Kolisi and Makazole Mapimpi also among those making their first URC outings.

Boeta Chamberlain kicked 20 points for the Sharks, while Morne Steyn racked up 11 for the visitors at Jonsson Kings Park, which hosted 2,000 fans for the first time since the start of the pandemic.

Sbu Nkosi squandered the Sharks’ first real sight of the try line having dusted himself down after sustaining an apparent shoulder injury in making a crunching tackle on Madosh Tambwe.

Chamberlain missed an opportunity to open the scoring from the tee before Nkosi spilled the ball as he looked to touch down in the corner after a kick forward from Am had sparked a period of Sharks pressure on the Bulls’ line.

The home fly-half did put three points on the board with a straightforward penalty as the match approached the 20-minute mark, but the Bulls scored the game’s opening try with their first meaningful attack thanks to Kriel’s stretch for the line, with Steyn adding the extras.

Steyn and Chamberlain then traded a pair of kicks apiece to send the Bulls in with a four-point lead at half-time.

Chamberlain dragged a penalty wide of the posts early in the second period, but he reduced the deficit to a single point with his next attempt and was on target again after Am superbly intercepted a Steyn pass to charge half the length of the field and under the posts, opening up a 19-13 lead.

Steyn pulled the Bulls back within three in the 57th minute, but Chamberlain kicked two more penalties either side of Lizo Gqoboka being sin-binned for collapsing a scrum, and two more misses on the night mattered little as Van Vuuren went over from a driving maul to put 14 points between the teams.
