Kabusa Oriental Choir – “Jingulu Christmas”

Kabusa Oriental Choir is a rural / urban choir founded by Austin Chinemezu Nwamara AKA ‘Austincan’ who is also the Director.

The choir made her first appearance in March 2019 with a cover of Kizz Daniel’s ‘Baba‘ and ‘Yeba‘ which was created by Austincan and went viral on the internet.

‘Kabusa‘ as they are fondly called has become more than just a household name in music as they have recorded significant growth in both membership and content; one of which is their number one hit song and the unofficial anthem for Valentine’s day – ‘Valentine is coming’ .

Known for setting the tune of any major season the ‘kpokposhi’ crooners are here for Christmas with this mini body of work titled “Jingulu Christmas“.

On this project they bring back all those nostalgic moments that make Christmas memorable for the typical Nigerian / African; Moments like, shooting fire crackers (banger), shopping for new clothes, eating the Christmas Turkey, travelling home for the holidays and so much more.

The Project is divided into three parts which make up one extensive experience, while the Last track (Track 4) is a combination of the first three which is the full experience.

All tracks were produced by David Chifumnanya Elumelu ‘Davidacekeys’, mixed and Mastered by Milla Mix.

The songs are so relatable, especially for Africans at home and in Diaspora to enjoy. Listen below

Vevo Releases Several Of Jay-Z’s Classic Music Videos For His 52nd Birthday

In honor of Jay-Z’s 52nd birthday, he teamed up with Vevo through Roc Nation to release several of the legendary and most iconic music videos on YouTube.

To celebrate being added to the world’s largest music video platform, the network has dedicated a 24-hour block of programming on their hip-hop channel along with 1-hour programming blocks on their 90’s channel and 2000’s channel today, Vevo said in a statement.

Hits to wind up on YouTube include “Encore,” “Izzo (H.O.V.A),” “D.O.A. (Death of Auto-Tune),” “In My Lifetime,” “Holy Grail,” “Young Forever,” “Girls Girls Girls,”  “Empire State of Mind,” “Run This Town.” “On To The Next One,” and “Streets Is Watching.”

The Brooklyn rapper also dropped the full 10-minute performance art film for his Magna Carta Holy Grail hit, “Picasso Baby”.

Jay-Z celebrated his 52nd birthday on the 4th of December.

Wema Bank Gifts Davido Brand New Truck Following Endorsement Deal

Davido has just bagged an endorsement deal with Wema bank, which comes with a brand new truck.

Do good and it will come back to you in multiple folds they say. This is exactly the case of Nigerian megastar, David Adeleke, widely known as Davido, who has just successfully bagged an endorsement deal with WEMA Bank Nigeria.

We all recall that a couple of weeks ago, the father of 3 tasked his friends to donate the sum of 1 million each, into his Wema Bank account towards his 29th birthday. This soon became a reality as more than enough donations came through, with a total of 201 million naira.

The internet almost shut down when Davido announced that all the funds, including his personal donation of 50 million naira, making a total of 251 million would be going to all orphanages across Nigeria.

The news of the icon’s kind gesture went viral and all media houses home and abroad could not get enough.

The singer who recently took delivery of his brand new Rolls Royce rode in it to Wema bank HQ in Lagos where the big reveal was made. In photos that have now circulated the internet, Davido is seen flanked by a couple of Wema Bank executives looking all smiles.
