Burna Boy’s Protege, Buju Shares Why He Criticized; Wizkid, Davido, Mr Eazi & Yemi Alade

Buju doesn’t like the way he’s feeling now. He has revealed why he criticized his colleagues’ music in 2015 and 2016.

Buju took to Snapchat to state his reasons and based everything on his right to criticize. He wrote that he didn’t know he was going to make music and went about criticizing the work of his colleagues. According to him, there’s nothing wrong with what he did because he felt their music was inferior back then.

He disclosed he had no personal relationship or connection with them in 2016, but he is certain they are cool with him and won’t take the leaked tweets the other way round.

Though he’s yet to tender a proper apology to people he trolled, Buju has warned Netizens to stop dragging him for the tweets from years ago and use that energy to do something useful with their lives.

Digital Vibes latest: ‘I am entangled in a saga I know nothing of’

Dr Zweli Mkhize’s son, DedaniMabhunu Mkhize says it is unfortunate that he finds himself entangled in a saga he knows nothing of, both father and son allegedly benefitted from the controversial Digital Vibes contract. This week, the Special Investigations Unit (SIU), seeking to recoup millions of rand spent on the controversial Digital Vibes contract, has accused Mkhize of unlawful and improper conduct for his role and wants his family to repay just under R4m.

This is contained in court papers the Special Investigating Unit (SIU) filed at the Special Tribunal on Thursday, where it is trying to recover R150m that was allegedly unlawfully paid by the department of health to Digital Vibes, a company owned by Mkhize’s close associate Tahera Mather.

ZWELI MKHIZE’S SPEAKS UP ON SIU AND DIGITAL VIBES

In a statement issued on Facebook, Dedani said he has never denied that he has a personal relationship with Tahera Mather (Zweli Mkhize’s long-serving personal spokesperson and alleged family friend) and neither has he ever denied that at times their personal relationship has had exchanges of money during the duration of the friendship.

“It is unfortunate to find myself entangled in a saga I know nothing of. It is highly presumptuous to inadvertently suppose that any past financial exchanges with Tahera Mather have a bearing on the contract in question. I have not benefitted a cent from the Digital Vibes contract with the department of Health and to state this as a fact are scurrilous assumptions.

“To assume that past financial exchanges mean I benefit in her business dealings (by virtue of being her friend) seems to be a desperate attempt to sensationalise matters.”

Dedani Mkhize

According to the SIU, Zweli Mkhize received money from Digital Vibes, allegedly for maintenance at a Bryanston property, while his son received R3.8m. These monies allegedly amount to undue gratification as there is no evidence that they did any work for Digital Vibes.

Dedani said that none of the monies ever exchanged between himself and Tahera Mather have been connected to the Digital Vibes contract with the Department of Health

Although South African DJ Ntombezinhle Jiyane, popularly known by her stage name DJ Zinhle is notoriously private about her personal life she sometimes gives her fans and followers a little glimpse into her home.

DJ Zinhle is a busy woman with multiple streams of income. Aside from being a DJ, she also has her own sparkling wine brand titled Boulevard Nectar Rosè, an eyewear brand called Era by DJ Zinhle and a premium range of lace-front wigs, Hair Majesty by DJ Zinhle. 

She is also a mom to six-year-old Kairo Forbes who she shares with rapper Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, popularly known as AKA. She is currently dating Black Motion’s Murdah Bongz and recently shared the story of his sweet gesture that won her heart.

DJ Zinhle also took to Instagram to show her 3.8 million followers a Gazebo she got made by GalaxyBlinds that was built next to her pool area. 

“Check out this amazing gazebo @galaxyblindsjhb built right next to my pool area! This whole structure is built from PVC and reinforced with aluminium inserts,” wrote Zinhle on Instagram.

“They have also included their ever so popular roller sheerweave blinds which as you know I absolutely love! Now i can enjoy this area all year round. Oh and by the way the clear polycarb roof sheeting also means my furniture is protected at all times,” she added.

A simple way to do this is to simply turn off the read receipts or blue ticks, but this is a 2-way-street and you will not be able to guess if the other person has read your WhatsApp message or not.

Turning off read receipts or disabling blue ticks on WhatsApp is easy. To disable read receipts, go to WhatsApp. Accounts > Privacy> Turn off read receipts by swiping left.

However, if you are the curious sort and WANT to know who seen-zoned you, and delve into eternal misery, but also don’t want others to know that you read their WhatsApp messages, you can follow this trick — before opening a WhatsApp message, out your phone in Airplane mode and when you are done, it will be marked as unread even if you have turned off the Airplane mode.

Another trick you can follow to show your presence less on WhatsApp is to turn off your last seen. Go to Settings > Click on Account > Select Privacy. You can tweak settings to disable last seen for your contacts or for no contacts at all.

You can also mark a WhatsApp message as “unread” for times when you see a message but don’t read it so that you remember to read and reply to it later.

Harmony OS 2 installed on over 40mn devices, confirms Huawei

Huawei has officially confirmed that the Harmony OS 2 is installed on over 40 million devices, meaning that eight users are upgrading every second.‎

If you are unaware, the software was booting on over 10 million devices within a week of its launch. News ‎broke out that within a month it was booting on over 25 million Huawei phones. Now, with the 40 million ‎milestone, Huawei’s Harmony OS has accomplished a higher position across phone operating systems.‎

At this pace, the OS seems to compete head-to-head with other operating systems. Huawei has also been adding open source components to the OS and it had recently added 400+ open source components.

Apart from this, Huawei is expected to bring the HarmonyOS 2 on all of its smartphones. Some of the premium phones to get the update would be Huawei’s Mate 40 series, P40 series, Nova8 phones, MateX2, and MatePad Pro.

It is pertinent to mention here that China’s Huawei Technologies announced the launch of its new Harmony operating system for smartphones in its biggest move yet aimed at recovering from the damage done by US sanctions to its mobile phone business.

The use of its own operating system will mean it will no longer be reliant on Android. U.S. sanctions banned Google from providing technical support to new Huawei phone models and access to Google Mobile Services, the bundle of developer services upon which most Android apps are based.
